Live not appearing in MIDI Patchbay

any Mac users ever gotten MIDI Patchbay to recognize Live? I'm not sure if its a Live 4 problem or not (I didn't use MIDI Patchbay until recently). but I can't route any of Live's MIDI outputs to anything (I wanted to filter some stuff) since it's not recognized. any ideas?
