how do I make tracks sound like daft punk?

70s funk ripped from vinyl + Off-beat hihats
sometimes some vocoder and moog to add to the groove

Will my music sound more like daftpunk if I get a crash helmet?

you will only be able to successfully create music like Daft Punk once you have an outfit like theirs.

make sure you get a bunch of drift wood and construct a mock pyramid to practice on top of.

Please dont get me involved in some sort of marmite motorway type of thing, i only said i preferred his tunes to Daft Punk... I am of course assuming The Antagonist is male but with a name like that could be a woman i suppose
