You cannot let a loop repeatedly play while recording automation.
Because every time the loop repeats your automation
ERASES itself right before your very eyes!
Frustrating, right?

You also cannot record automation into session CLIPS (still).
Amazing non-improvement!

But wait:
Every parameter's envelope in a session clip defaults to 100%.
Remember seeing the hundreds of forum posts about this one?
Well you and ten thousand other users were the only ones who cared.
Even if you pencil in automation manually
(which is the only way to do it in a session clip)
you will have to go back into every other clip
and set its value to 0%.
Makes sense? No!

Keep your fingers crossed and your credit cards ready...
Version 9 will be out probably next year...
