[amo] no instrument rack focus with midi select track

Post by porcini » Tue Jun 23, 2009 9:44 pm

Hi,

If I midi mapped "track select", instruments rack doesn't get the focus: no blue hand so I can't use instant mapping script.

For example the first time I select a track via midi, the instrument rack of the track doesn't get the focus (no blue hand, so no instant mapping capability).
This problem only occurs the first time: if I select instruments rack , change track via midi, and return to the previous track via midi , the instrument rack get the focus with the blue hand.

Thanks.

Hi,

There's a better way to do that nowadays: you can directly map the header of your instrument.

Thanks for your response, but that doesn't work with a generic template:

if I map the header of impulse for example and change instruments to simpler, mapping is lost.

I have a novation nocturn with an instant mapping script: I want to select track with a button and use the 8 knobs for instant mapping (like APC40!) but sometime this doesn't work cause the instruments hasn't got the focus when I select the track.

It's very annoying. Thanks for your help!!!
