Import midi map?

First of all, please excuse me if this subject has been beaten to death already. (I don“t come here a lot).
I really hope I am wrong about this, but my research leads me to believe that there is no way to import midi mapping from one song into another. Is this so?

I need to mix a bunch of songs while I am away from the studio, so I got myself a NanoKontrol to go with my Macbook. I am not supposed to build the midi map for every single song, am I? It feels like ther must be something I have missed.

Thanks for any response!

unfortunately you are correct, import of midi maps is not possible.

(Thanks, that was fast!)

But, WOW, crap, I was right.

Howabout workarounds? I just want the midi mapping of my NanoKontrol to be working for all my songs. To me it sounds simple. Am I right that if NanoKontrol had AutoMap it would work like this? I think I read something somewhere that sounded like somebody had NanoKontrol working like AutoMap (?)

not sure, I use a remote sl with automap and have never really heard of such a thing on the nano side of things, look around for a 3rd party nano app/driver.

you can save all your midi maps and then save as template but that will save all devices and only ones that are a part of the set from the beginning.
