I am coming to visit Berlin for the first time in the end of August.

I was wondering if anyone local wants to meet up and get a beer?

Also what are some fun things to do/see while there?

Clubs to try?

Also I am trying to do a DJ set somewhere in berlin while I am there. If anyone here has any ideas for me that would be great.

Ive heard good things about watergate (I will be staying right near that place). Also Berghain club for all your sunday morning partying needs

I can't believe people GO to the club at 9 AM sunday. I cant wait to see it for myself.

watergate is an ace location... So is weekend, but the staff is ultra awfull and the parties are lame.

I don't enjoy at all anymore going into any of the berlin 'name' clubs... As mentioned there is so much more interesting stuff going on..,

I will visit (again) Berlin in mid-september too. (very quickly unfortunately)
I'll be playing gigs with 2 diff'rent projects, @ Madame Claude and @ Smoking Cinema (but I'll post a little bit more about it soon, we might search more venues). if you're still there, be welcome !

You only need to ask around to find the most popular hotspots in town. Most of the usual good places to go are in the center of Berlin (Mitte, Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg), but the eastern part of the city has all the nightlife.

Anyone have leads on where I might be able to do a DJ set? any small club would be fun.

Also as far as the nightlife goes I am fresh and new to berlin so I am ok with going to the touristy spots fora night or 2 I have to get jaded somehow!
