I just wanted to share my frustration.

Paid my 50 dollar deposit to Steve's music (based out of Montreal). Waiting, waiting waiting....
And I have to sit and watch all these videos of happy people all over the world with their APCs. uugghhh...

Any other canucks getting any luck?

Im in the same boat man. I ordered from L&M as well. I talked to the guys at Moog Audio and they said its happening everywhere. We just have to wait for Akai to catch up. Hopefully APC80 isnt announced before I get the APC40.

Yeah Moog Audio in Toronto was the first place I put my name on the list. Except I was behind about 40 other people waiting. When I talked to Steve's out of Montreal, there were only 8 people who had put down a deposit, so I decided to go in that line instead.

Same here in the states. I preordered from zzounds, and feel tempted to cancel as others have. This the third time they've moved the backorder date. It's now SUPPOSED TO BE in August. I feel like getting Maschine until Akai get's its sh*t together. I feel like joining twitter so I can give them a piece of my mind---since I can't give them a piece of my paycheck.

I was calling up Moog Audio in Montreal 2 weeks ago to check on their stock and the guy on the phone told me they expect a few units soon, but he didn't sound too sure. A week later I sent off an email request and another person from their staff actually put one aside for me as soon as they arrived. He said that they expect 100 units. They were supposed to come this week but I haven't had the chance to call them yet, so I don't know about the current status. I will though, this weekend.
Oh, please, let them have it...

Same here - ordered mine from L&M. After hounding them for a while to find out what's going on, I've been told at the end of July is when I can expect mine. Brutal. I'm heading to Atlanta next week on business and am going to keep my eyes open - hopefully I can find one down there, like everyone else, I'm jonsing!!!

As far as I can tell, I've got one of the 2 units sold in Canada. Crazy.

When I got mine, I thought it was the first of a larger shipment, but no.

only 10 units sold in switzerland !!
they will receive in the shop in august 2 units only !

a little update on the topic:

I called Moog Audio/Montreal again today and it seems that the shipments have been delayed until August. Bad luck I guess...
I don't know though if this can be taken as a general assumption for all of Canada.

Still waiting here in New Zealand too. I think a couple of people have got some from ordering internationally but the actual NZ shipment is nowhere to be found.

I want an apc40 2 but I´ve not even got the cash to upgrade from 6 to 8.
last year there was no apc at the horizon, and I got my shit done anyway, without even knowing there will be an apc...
the longer you wait, the higher the chance you won´t get one of the first batch with the whining issue
sometimes I just don´t want to be an early adopter, "just look and see vegetable starts with a v..."
