Live 8 not seeing my mbox

Hi Live 8 on my MacBook Pro is not seeing my Mbox. I'm running 10.5.7.
It's an older mbox so maybe it is no longer compatible?
I've tried in Preferences both in Live and in system preferences and it does not show up.
Any help is appreciated,

do any applications on your computer see it?
did you install the latest drivers?
does it work in any fashion?
need more clues.

You're right. More clues. I had a HD failure on my older laptop. I'm gradually getting all my aps reinstalled. I'm going to attempt Pro tools reinstall
tomorrow and I'll see if the mbox is seen by the new computer.

Hm - interesting. Live 8 isn't seeing my Edirol UA-25 either. Other programs - including my computer can see it okay. Live 7 saw it okay.
If I'm doing something dumb (more than likely) can someone walk me through it please? Or point me to a link that does?
