Hey everyone, I just bought a FCB1010 and need help programming it. I am totally new when it comes to MIDI CC's and stuff like that. I read and bookmarked the 'Definitive Guide' on this forum but just had a few questions.

I am using it with my bass, plugged into my Alesis iO14, and using plug-ins to add effects to my signal. Now I'm wondering if I can use the foot pedals to instantly change the effect by pressing it once, so it turns on my desired effect and shuts every other one off. I have effects that use my input signal 3 times (1 for the normal input, 1 for a 700 cent raise, and one for an octave raise) I need to know if I can press 1 pedal to turn the effect on/off. And while I am using that effect, I can switch it to a totally different one by pressing 1 pedal.

OK, I did everything on the video, and assigned notes to turn on 2 effects. G0 and G#0 for 2 different ones. But I would like to have G0 turn off when I turn G#0 on. Can I do this?

Just saw this after i posted a whole new thread on it. Hope you find it useful. It should allow you to switch between chains of effects quickly and easily within a single effect rack.
