uc33e - problems with play button not moving to next scene

Call me dumb, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to fix my UC33 play button. It used to automatically go to the next scene when i hit play, allowing me to launch clips in sequence. Now, it stays on the same clip. Any body have any idea how to fix? I sure as heck don't and thanks in advance.

Do you have "Select Next Scene on Launch" enabled in Live's Preferences?

It is active. I tried turning it on and off, but still no fix. When i hit return, it will select the next scene. however, on my UC33e, hitting play keeps it on the same scene...

So after some mad tinkering, i finally got this function to work again... I have no idea what I did to make it right. I reset the factory settings on the uc33e, zapped my pram and at some point after that it just turned back on. none of my other controls retained the current mapping so i ended up having to remap, but i opened a case with m-audio to see if they have an answer as to why... freaking weird
