can you change the automation to a curve instead of a straight line between breakpoints??
i use acid pro, occasionally since i tried Live, but you can have curves, fedes, fast fades, slow fades, alsorts of curves for envolopes, volume, pan, fx etc.. can Live do this?? i can't seem to see it..

you either have to draw them with the pen tool, record them in, or make them by creating enough breakpoints

drawing them is an option, time consuming, and if your not good, not smooth enough..
if acid can do it, then Live should be able to..

yes an absolutely necessary feature. I sort of assumed the new fade curve feature was going to be a way to easily set up simple curves for effects and things of that sort as well. Hopefully they can figure out a way to apply the exact same curve feature throughout the program and not just fades on clips.

i guess you could lay a volume fade, and copy over it with the pencil..
that said, it should be in there anyway
