This the first original track I've made public after being out of music creation for 15 years (not counting remixes). I'd love some feedback, especially on production quality or vocals, which I'm not yet confident with.

Thanks all!

It's a good track. I'm not to sure if the vocal sits well in the mix.

Thanks! Thanks the kind of feedback I need. I got the same comment from someone else a few minutes ago and I agree. I'm going to go back and work on making the vocal sit in the mix better. I'm not 100% sure how to do that, but hopefully I can figure it out. Maybe it's just to hot, maybe more compression, maybe I need to automate the levels more precisely... maybe I just need better mic technique... not sure.

FWIW, I re-edited the track based on helpful feedback and posted a new mix. I think it's an improvement. Thanks!

Vocals still kinda mute., try maybe duplicate and pan L R like say 15 %20 or so. Its just so center field to me.

I don't know, I thought the track was cool!!!

Also, you sound more punk rock than industrial vocally kinda sorta., you need to get more attitude, more believable possibly. (think about all the fucking shit we all have to put up with daily!) ...life sucks!, and its never going to get any better until I Hear YOU feel the way I Fucking do, inside!

Or this could be the most horrible advice you have ever heard, and I'm sorry

...I hate retake's myself.
