Attack and PPG vs, Live4

I thought I posted this already, but can't find it anywhere on the forums. Huh? I bought my Live 4 upgrade a few days ago, and decided to install a couple of old VST's I used with Logic5. Waldorf's Attack and PPG Wave. The PPG just cracks, pops and does all sorts of sub-human-hearing things. The meters are moving but all you can hear is pops and cracks. While Attack on the other hand make sound, but seems to have a bit-depth reduction effect to it. Weird. These are the only plugs I'm having trouble playing. Though I don't have many VST's, mostly AU's. I have the latest versions of the software that I could find. Anyone else having problems with these?

I wonder if it has something to do with mine being on a Mac under OSX? Steinberg always seems to treat mac as an afterthought. Until recently at least. I have latest versions I caould find.

Both working fine for me.
PPG and Attack are both version 1.2.0 and I'm on OSX 10.3.4.
Have you tried re-installing and/or repairing permissions?
