is there an easy way to swap live files back and forth from mac to pc? is there a file structure that i should be mindful of?

hi there.
the so called live files (i'm sure you mean the .asd ones) can be used on mac and pc. there is no difference.
you can also use live without creating these .asd files. take a look into the preferences. it is just more easy for the program to open files, wich have allready been analysed.
