looks like the perfect solution for performance and have no need for inputs.

Looks pretty slick. NI is really ramping up the hardware.

Now they just need to make some kind of auto mapped keyboard to go with their synth line. 8O

A keyboard version of the Kore 2 controller would be cool.

Looks great for simple needs, the other NI interfaces are already a first class choice.

this is so perfect. i once got the audio4dj and returned it because of latency. but recording with it was anyway too much to ask. but this little one is all what i need for performing. damn it. another thing "i need" . :|

edit>
this (is what i use these days to dj)

Uh.. no offense (with respect to mr. erwistand), but I don't see what's interesting or nice about this. Looks like more of the same, "race-to-zero" type of gear to me. (Race to zero means that it's in the worldwide competition to make pro audio gear that will retail for zero dollars. Behringer is always in the lead, but that doesn't stop most manufacturers from competing, and ruining their good name ::cough cough Apogee ONE cough cough::

i think the NI interfaces sell only because of their looks and because there´s NI on them. personally i wouldn´t buy this or another interface by NI. you get more pro sound with better drivers for a little mo´ money from other companies for sure.

but hey, different strokes for different folks.

which ones???

i believed the same until i heard A->B several interfaces with the audio 8 dj in comparision... on our old club PA... it convinced me, next to the weight (travel), built (travel), size (travel) and the fact that it has chinch connex (even it's unbalanced, but a cable run of max 1m like with decks or CDs it doesn't matter, but has advantages if you loose a cable or it fails while you are abroad, etc.)

pretty good was also the firebox by presonus and ultralite... e.g. both which have drawbacks to a hardcore user (traveler), size, weight, connex that are more difficult to get, the firebox which does not start up without PSU (with certain computers), etc. etc.

all in all IF we speak DJ interface and just DJ interface the NIs are a total winner. the sound is bar none superb, fat 'n' punchy on those NIs
for any other use, there are other choices, sure.

my2cents.
