...too damn expensive
Played with the demo tonight and was
really impressed.
Went to the shop and it comes out as £336 (499 euros). Bit too much for me

Yet it's the least expensive of the main sequencers (Logic, Cubase, Digital Performer, and Sonar).
Save your money for a bit. It's worth it.

Actually I see it going for $399 in the US (NovaMusik).
That's £226, which is more like it.
Just emailed jrr shop (who ship to the uk) and keeping my fingers crossed...

JRR Shop in Irvine, CA is a great retailer. I'm sure they'll hook you up proper.

$499 is suggested retail. Everywhere I've looked has it for $399 street price.

Yeah - I got VirusPowercore from them for MUCH cheaper than in Europe.
Americans have got it
real good when it comes to online electrical / software shopping
I'm surprised it's taken you so long to start embracing electronica / house music

I would be ready for a customs charge though... I'm in the UK and ordered Reaktor a while ago from a US retailer and had to pay the postman 60 quid. It was still cheaper ... but only just.
If you mailed it to an American friend and they mailed it on to you with a more conservative value on the customs declaration ...
cheers, RH

I cancelled my order with Albeton when I discovered it would take 7 days to ship from Germany to the UK and that they were charging £60 more than a retailer.

Just hope I get away with the customs (have done before but it's a lottery)

see if Eric @ JRR can send it via DHL, i've always known DHL to be good at getting stuff in without customs fees. at least in the US. i've ordered goods from Canada, Germany, and India that were shipped DHL and never had an issue.
