Is that the official Ableton tweet? I know I'm following a few like AbletonInc too, I never know which one is the official one...

It isn't official. Its a script that checks for announcements. Worked pretty well so far.

I have yet to try this one, but ive had the same problem with Ableton for ages now. It can just shut down on me randomly. Its as if theres too much going on when it happens but i cant see how as im running a high spec macbook pro plenty of memory and a proper legal working copy of ableton 8, and im not running that many tracks at the one time. Anybody experiencing this same problem?

You don't have to "twit" or "sign up to twitter" in order to use those. You can even poll it as an RSS feed, into a newsfeed reader of your choice.

Just like 8.0.4, 8.0.5b7 keeps crashing almost every time I run it. Sometimes unexpectedly when I don't even modify anithing, just clips playing. External MIDI Foot Controller (Behringer FCB1010) is not identified, though AXIOM 49 is run fine. Where can I attach bug report file -LOG ?

Seol

Have you checked your Ableton user account - are you already subscribed to both mailing lists?
