I've always used Live, but my school has the new Logic Studio for $150, so I bought it. I don't do electronic/live stuff. The mere fact that Logic 9 let's me apply Bezier curves to any automation has made my mix sound much more fluid and natural. I like it so far.

Electronic production = Live
Live use = Live (Never witnessed anyone using Logic live for anything other than as a backing track, whereas Live is designed as a performance tool)
Recording = Logic

I'm going to jump out on a limb here and say that Live is better for live performances.
Let me make you a spreadsheet for the rest of your points quickly:
Live - Can record
Logic - Can record
Live - Can sequence
Logic - Can sequence
Live - Can make electronic music
Logic - Can make electronic music
Hope that helps??

I suggest Live for it's flexibility and creativity inducing design, so many ways to flip the music and even if you end up using logic later you'll still appreciate how much live can inspire you and spark alot of ideas
