I'm usually one of those people that either like to sequence in the host piano roll or use interseting arps within a synth so I wasn't that interested when I first saw this, but after looking a little closer at the functions and reading the write-up, man it looks like a lot of fun!

I'm sure this is all doable with Max4Live, but it does look they made a pretty impressive little sequencer there eh? I think it would tough to replicate the gui experience and all functions with a Max4Live patch.

... and to think I was supposed to be beta testing for these guys, but I got too busy and forgot to send back the contract. I could've been playing with it already, sheesh...

Just tried it out and it aint bad! Even the synth sounds ok and even better when layered with something else. I've been trying out sequences over a track i'm working on and it's got me bopping. :D You've got eight modulation sections as well so it will be interesting seeing how it works on outboard. There's also a crossgrade offer for owners of era which is why i checked it out. I like it!

If the app would be cheaper I might consider purchasing it, because it looks very nifty. But for Euro 99,- I rather create some dummy clips myself for controlling my sounds that way!

Care to elaborate on that? I'm not sure where I'd start. Put all these things in a rack?

If you're on Mac I'd hold off for Five12 Mononote AU, I'm helping test it right now and it'll do everything that Eloquence will, with less latency and it will be cheaper.

Will it be usable as an arp or just mono step sequencer? And will it only be AU? No VST?

Yeah, Numerology is the way to roll on a Mac imo. It's great through Rewire, but it will be sick when Jim has the AUs working. As far as I know he'll be bringing the other modules into AU as well, just starting with the Mononote. Not sure about VST, probably a ways off if at all.

It will be AU only. Its a mononote sequencer, but there is lots to tweak. If you head over to the five 12 forums you can see a screenshot. I'm a huge fan of Five 12s Numerology its the most insane modular step sequencer I have ever used. I guess the developer Jim got so many requests for a plugin version that he has been working on this Mononote AU... which is one module from Numerology.

At some point I wouldn't mind getting a plug-in step sequencer, but I'd want it to be an arp as well. Since I just use VSTs in Kore (to keep it clean and keep load times down), I hope that the new numerology plug-ins go VST as well. Eloquence is pretty cool, but a little pricey for a sequencer plug-in with no arp imo.

i think the chord plug-in consequence looks more fun, but i love all these types of utilities.

That does pretty cool actually. Looks like no mac version though. And am I right thinking it can only arpeggiate 3 note chords? The rows represent 3 notes over three octaves right? I might be wrong about that. Also, no glides it looks like.
