Live plugins latency chart?

Hello,
Does anyone know which of Live's built in audio plugins run at zero latency and which
ones add some latency to the audio path? We are trying to remove all plugins that add
latency from our set when playing live.
Regards,
meeble

Is there really such a thing as a "zero latency plugin"?

i guess not, only a latency you would not reckogize while playing live, since you are able to adopt to certain and minimal timing issues.
AFAIK the limiter does insert a vast latency, might be only a problem in my setup though.

yes there are some plugins that do not add any latency. but for the sake of the discussion, I consider a plugin zero latency even if it adds 1-10 samples.
For example, Waves Ren Comp adds 64 samples, which is more than I want to deal with when playing live.
Does anyone have any info about the built in Ableton effects and their latency amounts?

Hi there,
the AAS instruments introduce the latency of the set CPU buffer size.
Compressor and Limiter introduce the latency of the set look-ahead. Gate has 1.5ms. Erosion has 5ms.
Reverb introduces 8 samples of latency. The other Ableton plugins have just a few samples of latency.
Best,
Michael
