hi there !

i´m really interested in your comments about the performance of live under os x. when i was former using 9.2.2. this program was running 2 or 3 times more fx than now under the new os ...
do you have the same probs ?

pb g4-400 512 ram
motu 828 and internal core audio -> same results

I tried both at the computer store, and arrived at the same conclusion, and sadly the PB couldn't match PC notebook performance by far

Maybe all this improves with jaguar..... I doubt it though, my guess is that the hardware/processor speed is to blame. And no altivec optimisation for Live.

maybe you´re right ... but why is is really well working under 9.2. then ?
f***ing os x or what ? anyway i´m really interested in future releases of cubase sx or logic ... and beside this also nord modular 4.o software : )
i do not know if an altivec support can help to get much more performance ? i know only one thing: i cannot use my pb & 828 for livegigs under os x right now ... many greets from frankfurt
