i loved that "dj's are fucking middle men, and should go the way of the fucking dinosaur" rant. so great.

like him or not, he achieved success and has made a living out of making music. and i really appreciate his no BS mentality and him calling it like he sees it. probably a pretty decent guy. you don't have to like his music to like the person. but i like some of his music anyway.

If half the hater heard his music, except under a different name.
it would be a different story.

Deadmau5 is good when he doesnt play the cheese. When he cheeses it out though, he is just as annoying as the pop dance garbage they play on the radio.

Beyond that, I dont really pay much attention to him becasue his music isnt consistantly good enough for me to care.

about the same drums..
i think the only other song i heard those drums on, was "ghosts n stuff".. i hated that song.

think its also due to his compression techniques which give it that defined sound.

it's just weird to me that some people think "oh my god thats amazing and beautiful" and I can't help but think "oh my god this is average and boring"

I mean if you like him thats cool, it's just not for me at all.

Normally when you don't like an artists music, you just don't listen to it. I find it odd that so many people get so worked up over him and actually seem to hate the guy and his music. Just because you don't like the tracks doesn't make the music bad, doesn't make him an ass, it just means that its not your style. Im just being general here, not calling anyone out, but there just seems to be so much anger toward the guy from people who simply don't like his music.

Sure some people don't like that hes honest and speaks his mind about stuff that they don't agree with, but who cares really. How does what deadmau5 say in an interview really effect anyone of us.

My main gripe with all this stuff is that people complain a lot, but do nothing about it. If you really hate the man or his music so much, then get working on your own tracks. Everyone with their sophisticated ears, that know everything he is doing "wrong", please make some tracks that are "right". I for one love music and would be happy to see more and more producers out there making banging tracks, and I think many people feel the same way.
