Ableton Forum

Hi, just got my APC40 yesterday. I have ableton live 7.0.2. I read that the APC40 is plug and play but when i go to midi sync in preferences, i am unable to select the APC as a control surface. Im am workin of windows XP.
It seem like my computer is not reading the APC40.
Can anybody help me out?

you need a much later version of Live 7, something like 7.16. do 'check for updates' from the options menu to get the latest.
