Clip envelopes are not working for me anymore. I can write automation in the arrange view, but all clip envelopes I attempt to change have no effect. When I open the envelope view in clips, the envelope's breakpoint is at maximum (regardless of where the mapped parameter is at), and changing it has no effect.

I'm not sure when this started. Clip envelopes used to work fine.. I'm selecting the appropriate setting, but they have no effect. What gives?

I'm using Live 8.0.4 with Mac OS 10.5.8

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

which parameter are you trying to control in clip envelope?
Is it one of the sends?

I had problem with some envelopes. The problem was I hadn't understood how clip envelopes and UI control position decide what the parameter value will be. I was trying to change SendA in a clip, but it wasn't doing anything. THen I realized that in track's UI SendA value was zero. That value defines the maximum that SendA gets *when clip envelope has value 100%*.

Maybe most users know this, but I had no idea.
