my tutor has Ableton 7, I have Ableton 8

My tutor has Ableton 7 and I have Ableton 8. Can I bring my files over to load onto his set-up? If not, what are my options? Since I have the Ableton Suite 8 license, can I also have access to download Ableton 7? Then I can start some files on Ableton 7 and bring them over to his set-up. Any suggestions are much appreciated! Thanks!

you can download version 7 from here
http://www.ableton.com/latest_versions
i assume your 8 licence will work for 7
live 8 songs wont load on your tutors live 7
his songs will load on yours

no, this is not true. unless you upgraded from 7. you could run in demo mode
anyway, this guy is a professional live instructor? tell him to buy 8
