absynth crashes live when sample is missing

When Live 4 couldnt locate a sample used in an Absynth VST instrument a popup window appeared telling me this and the only way to get out of it was to force quit.
I have absynth 2.05 installed and everything on my powerbook is up to date (osx 10.3.5)
