Warbling tracks (macOS)

I have a bunch of live guitar and bass recorded in GarageBand and LiveDelta. These recorded tracks (.aif's) exist on disk and I can see them in the file browser.
When i preview them in the file browser for Live4, they play back warbled and way too fast. Does this mean that I can't use them in Live4? They play back fine doing the same thing in LiveDelta. It would *really* suck to have to re-record them.
The preview shows them as 44kbit, 16bit mono. Nothing out of the ordinary. What's going on here?

sometimes the file browser will playback loops at the same tempo that your Live song is set to.
so if they are 110 bpm and Ableton is set to 135bpm, when previewing them - they will sound sped up.
so why not drop them into Live and see how they translate?

Both GB and Live were set to 120bpm. No difference between how it sounds in file browser and how it is in the session view.
Any other ideas?

can you upload an audio (mp3) example?

are the lengths of the tracks equal to a specific number of measures? live assumes that all samples are cut to whole measure lengths. so if your song is 100 measures long, live should be able to guess the tempo, but if it's rendered to be 100 measures, two beats and an eighth note, then live will have some problems.
the upside to this is, you can still use your samples. bring them into live, and change the clip's original tempo in the clip properties section.

it could also be that live is thinking they are twice as fast as they really are, which can be fixed by using the left button (:2) right underneath the tempo button. if the button doesn't do anything, then change the clip's tempo a bit and then change it back, then try the button again.
