c'mon...it's been how long and you still can't name one professional that uses Live ?

Me. I use Live.

I'm in a big band but I can't tell you the name of that band. its really BIG though.

There are industry giants and top 40 producers using Live everyday and letting other software and hardware take the credit. It's spawned from the stigma of Live not being a "serious" program and endorsement deals.

Yeah - like the list of users linked by Ableton are not professional. Some of em might finish up in Protools but not all of them.

From where did Live get this reputation of not being a serious program? I've personally never heard any one saying it was crap. All the musician I talk to are always open minded and use their own preferred tools.

I can only speculate. Bad trance music and whack bedroom producers?

Really though, that's sort of Live's image here in the states if you were to ask academic institutions and big studio engineers.

Or at least, he haunts the forum of it, that's for sure.

But then, it might be like those guys who hang around outside schools, they don't necessarily go to school, they just like to interfere with those that do.
