Hey everyone... again. Back with some more newb questions. =( I have been playing with simpler a bit and am having trouble finding the right files to create bass lines. Do the .wav files not come with Ableton? Which files can I put in simpler and which can I not put in simpler? (particularly bass at this point, just playing to get to know the program)? And any suggestions on where to find them if ableton does not provide them please? Really appreciate it thank you!

there are a lot of presets for bass under simpler, but you can take anything and turn it into a bass, i like looping tom hits tight looping them and making the original pitch high, makes for a fun sound

Ok cool. Ill give that a shot. But in simpler, are the bass lines supposed to be in the folder of simpler itself? I only have three folders in Simpler. Piano Keys, Latin Percussion, and Drums. Are there no premade bass lines? Or am I to make them out of the drum rack? Just a bit confused on that part. (Or the files didnt install correctly for some reason)

Thanks

well simpler is an instrument, there arent any basslines made already, you use simpler as a bass instrument and play/program the lines yourself

and it sounds like it didnt install, go to repair library and also download 7 legacy pack from ableton downloads section
