Make Akai APC 40 a FireWire audio / midi interface

I would like to see the Akai APC40 made into a FireWire audio / midi interface. Add audio and midi inputs and outputs to it something like the Akai MPC 5000. Adding this will make the APC 40 a must have for Ableton Live for sure.
