How to Hide .ASD Files?

I did a quick search on the forum, nothing came up with a satisfactory answer. is there anyway to consolidate all the .asd files in a dedicated .asd folder, or is there a way to hide the .asd files in finder/explorer? this problem is very frustrating and one of the reasons i can't stomach m-audio's torq as well with their .tqd files. any help will be greatly appreciated, especially if you have a concise method to get .asd files a little more under control, thanks -ag
