Ableton 8.0.4 - Serious Program Error (SideChCompSt.dll)

I have recently upgraded Ableton live from 7.0.2 to 8.0.4
I liked it instantly because it feels more stable than the previous versions (that used to crash all the time).
But now i have a problem. After installing my favorite plugins and scaning my VST folder, i get this:
"A serious program error has occured.
Live will shut down after this message box is closed."
The plugin that causes the problem is "SideChCompSt.dll". It's just a simple compressor.
You can get it here (if u'd like to test it):
http://www.geocities.jp/webmaster_of_ss ... ChComp.zip
I've used it for side-chaining in earlier versions of Ableton and it worked perfectly fine. Why not now? ANY IDEAS?
I would preferably not change it for another plugin, because i've used it in all my projects so far.
I tried changing the VST folder location, trashing the Preferences.cfg - none helped. Im runing it on Vista 32, as an administrator. Please help. . .
