Hi,
Any Podxt (or other hardware)users can get Pod Farm for nout.
Here's the link for the download
http://uk.line6.com/podfarm/purchase.html
However I can only seem to get the registration code!
I can't work out how to actually download the bloody thing !
Give it a try. Maybe I'm just being dense
Cheers

Go to the Downloads section and then input "iLok" and "Pod Farm" in the drop down menus (or substitute iLok for your hardware if not using an iLok). Then it will provide a page where you can download the installer.

My only previous experience of Line 6 was an amp that a felow guitarist friend used to have. I thought it was awful - just couldn't get any decent sounds out of it at all. That was about 5 years ago.
Just grabbed this freebie plugin and I'm absolutely floored by how good it is. I've used GR3, Amplitube, Waves GTR etc etc and have found the Fender Atube the best plug for my needs so far. This Pod Farm is right up there - especially the AC30 model.
Get it while the gettin's good - even if you don't play gats...the stomp box section is great for synths.

It freezes my iMac when launched as a plug in in L8, even if I own Toneport UX1.
Pod Farm (the program not the plug-in) can still work.
Strange to say it happens on Leopard 11.5.6 and
not on Tiger 10.4.11.
L8 on both machines. Odd. I'll investigate.

Pasha - did you reboot after install?
anyone have luck with this today? I clicked on the "Compatible Line 6 gear* users can purchase POD Farm as a direct download from Line6.com." link and get a page with "sorry that item isn't available."

I got it working in Logic 9 with Snow Leopard, so far anyway.
To download free license go here
http://www.line6.com/news/offers/864
and then once you get the license look for the link on the site called "download" and navigate to your product.

Yes. It forced me to do so, twice (I thought those days were over...

)
However, it works only on Tiger.
On Leopard 10.5.6 it's beach ball forever.

Yep my Macbook gets utterly spannered when I try to load it, on 10.5.8. Complain on the Line 6 forums, I did... to no avail yet though. ffs.
