Keep getting the following message after downloading authorization file and clicking on it:

The URL

"httP://www.ableton.com/software?Page=ch ... oductid=00" could not be opened.
{The operating system denied access to the specified file.}


any suggestions?

Unless you have UAC turned off in Win7, you need to make sure youre running Live as administrator.
Right-click, Run as Administrator. You need to do this with a lot of apps since Vista even if your account is an Admin account, it still doesn't run everything at highest privs by default.
