IMAC VS Win7

Hi Guys i have question & help please. I was thinking of buying new PC & My Budget is 2000$, What will goes well with my production IMAC 2.66 Qude 2 with 4GB Ram to use with Ableton 8 running 36 Channel using Sylnth & Wave VST or new PC running windows 7 at 64 bite with I7 Motherboard with 8GB Ram?
