Okay, so the esteemed Daniel of Ableton is running Extendlive.com and has posted videos of MaxForLive - as a private citizen, mind you.
Also, Christopher Willits (sp?) has posted a sort of pre-review about Max For Live, with the permission of Ableton.
So my question is; when can *we* do the same?
I'd love to document some of the stuff I'm doing with M4L, but I won't bother if I can't share the findings, really.
Anyway, consider this me officially asking permission!
Cheers,
Andreas.

I'd also like permission to show some things in M4L, as I'm doing a demo of our Livid Ohm64 controller at Robotspeak in SF on 9/19, and at a Decibel festival workshop on 9/24. If I don't have permission, I won't show it, but it sure would be good for both of us!

also, I remember Andrew Pask (?) saying that the NDA was going to be out soon? Presumably because the beta circle would be so wide that it wouldn't matter much anymore?
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this matter, since sharing our projects, and the stories about them, really is important.

Yeah, I've got the same question. I'll offer workshops at the end of the month on both Max and Live and it would be nice to be able to give a small preview to people attending the workshops. Of course, for now, I'll keep my mouth shut as long as we don't have any permission to do it.

At this point I'd be happy with a "we're looking into it"...

Might also be interested in showing parts of MfL in a conference in China in mid-October (prisma-shanghai.org) ... Hope we'll have a word before that.

Just wanted to re-iterate a desire for a word on this, as I have a demo on Saturday.
Thanks,
Pete.

Hi,
Exposure of Max for Live is OK with Cycling '74 but you might want to wait for someone from Ableton to say something to this effect too.

David, if it's not too much trouble, could you grab someone high-up in Ableton and direct them here?
Awesome - that's 50% done! Wooh.

okay, now it's getting silly, people are dropping little screenshots on twitter now, talking about M4L beta... sigh.
Why is it such a pain doing things the right way round?

Hi folks,
Sorry for the delay in responding.
This is fine from the Ableton side.
Feel free to discuss.
Best,
