my ableton is starting to crash alot...
most times when i try to quit the program it crashes...
when i try to change drivers it may crash.....
my version of massive is now making it crash after 3 weeks of it working fine....
whats the go???

Yes, I've been having problems over the last couple of months, when before that things had been working so well (when using 8.03). Now some of those crashes is because I have some ridiculously complicated sets and may not have enough RAM.
The annoying aspect is that when I run out of memory, the program crashes. Then it hangs in "Processes" even when I force it to close. I usually requires me to reboot.
I also have had some strange things going on. (Win XP, Dual Core 3.2GHz, 2Gig RAM, Fireface 800). On two occasions I have had rebuild my preferences. Last night, Live would not start (hanging on the splash screen indefinitely--on "loading template".) I then trashed the template from application data, and then it would just hang on ("Creating new Live Set"). It would not be seen on application (in task manager), only as process. I ended up unloading all versions of Live and trashing my whole application data folder.
I then reloaded Live, reset my preferences and bookmarks and now am back to normal until the next strange thing happens.
I have also had crashes when loading some mainstream VST's (like PSP Neon).

Legit copy or torrent? What version? OS?

legit macbook pro 2.4ghz core 2 duo 2gb 667 MHz....fast track pro soundcard
will there be a new version coming soon do you think? does anyone else get crashes when they try to close ableton?

i get frequent crashes while saving a few projects

they are always the same so i have suspect of semi corrupted files on plugin information

i have a suspect on d16 drumazon (they recently updated it and changed lots of stuff in the core)
