Ableton Forum

Hello,

I have installed the Max 5.1 beta and the ableton 8.1beta and they both open on their own but when i try and open a max instrument it crashes. I am not sure really how to get going with maxforlive but I think this is where I would get started patching in Ableton since it opens max for live when i load the instrument. ....but then crashes like i said.

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I am also having a similar problem on a macbook pro. Ableton beta and M4L open just fine, but whenever i try and start patching M4L crashes, although ableton is unaffected. very frustrating...
on a side note, I can open and run the example patches with no problem, although many of them are useless as operator and many of the other bonus features are disabled in the ableton beta. is there a way that I can authorize operator for 8.1?
