Prelisten on M-Audio Audiophile 2496 ??? does it work???

1st) can you do the mono trick since it only has one stereo out?

2nd) can you use the digital spdif connection as a prelisten with a set of digital headphones? and the stereo out as a main?

1: mono trick??? probably yes
2: no Live doesn't see the SPDIF outputs/inputs (that i can see)
