The other beta testers already spilled the beans. Makes me wonder about the whole M4L beta test thing... If you didn't know you were going to be on it, how does Ableton pick their testers then? Randomly?

By the way Abes, I'm a software developer with 13+ years full time experience and have used Live every day for 5 years.

i'm suffering from non-information since the first "look what we got" in january... i seriously can't wait yep, i'm desperate

This isn't the type of program they'd want random open beta testers on. There'll probably be a bunch of people who don't get how the fuck it works in it's full released form.

I believe for the beta that you have to have licenses for both Max 5 and Live 8...

I think, there was a note on the C74-Website, that one could e-mail them and then probably get into the test. But it's months ago that I read it there and maybe I just dreamed about.

An YES, I absolutely don't understand the kind of information in that case! - Are they worried that everyone would cry, when the release would get two weeks later as they would have been saying???

I slowly start of thinking to loose interest in M4L and make music instead.

I don't know.. I have MAX/MSP 5 and Ableton 8. I also have a LEmur and Monome. I applied about 100 times to the beta and still have not received an invite. I am chomping at the bit to get one. I have figured out the link to the beta but it asks for an email and only sends the d/l link to that email. I am not bitter, just excited to get started with it.
