Every FFT analyser plugin I have use A4 (= 440hz), even the wiki shows it as A4 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A440
Is there a reason why Ableton have choosen to do this?

It should be corrected IMHO

My experience tells me that many devices and sofwares are using their own octave numbering. Some are also refering to the A at 440 Hz as an A0. Correct notation should be in Ticks (') anyway.

But as this is only theoretical and would just require changing some numbers, I do not see a reason not to correct this.
