presonus firebox to speakers

finally got my apc 40 w/ presonus firebox but i have no clue what kind of cables i need to get some sound out of my speakers. the only cable i succesfully plugged is the firwire cable to my mac.
anybody can help me out here. the manuel doesn't help at all.

firebox I believe uses XLR connectors..... XLR = a combination connector for EITHER 1/4 inch mono plugs OR a 3 prong microphone cable....
You can use regular 1/4 paired cable....
Assuming your speakers are powered they should probably take 1/4 as well.....

The firebox has 1/4" phone plugs for the outputs. Use the Main Out 1 & 2 on the back of the unit to go to your speakers.
The front 2 inputs are the combo (xlr & 1/4") and the rear 2 ins are 1/4"
