Is there a way to assign midi buttons to increase/decrease the tempo by increments of 1 bpm?

Thanks in advance.

yes you can, not directly though

you need something that you can script through

and you are limited to a 127 bpm range until M4L

maybe bomes?

i created a script on my lemur to do this very thing

you can do it by mapping the tempo fine adj. to the value of a relative encoder (CC 102, Mode: Relative don't remember which one...) then reprogram two buttons (bomes, midiyoke) to send the encoder's CC messages (CC 102 value = 1 for down, CC 102 value = 65 for up, might be the other way around..once again i dont remember for sure and can't test at work). i do it w/ my launchpad and works great

o crap, that's .1 increments...sorry, i set it so i can hold it down which makes increasing by 1 really easy though
