In the Arrangement view, how do I shorten the length of the project? Normally the Clip Overview area will resize the project automatically, but it has not been working in my most recent project. I am using Live 8.0.4 on Windows XP.

Usually this works via zooming out and back in.

Indeed, you are correct, and that's the problem -- for some reason in this particular project the overall length does not resize automatically when I zoom out. I'm not sure what would cause this, as typically the arrangement does indeed truncate to the shorter length.

So yes, this is unusual, and not working with the regular zoom out function.

Well this is awkward...I installed 8.0.5, and now I get the following error:



The program will not start at all.
