Sampler "Missing Files"

I am using Ableton Live 8 Suite. When I open some, not all, Sampler files, some of the files from samplification say they are missing. It is only from the live pack "Samplification". All the original sampler files work and some of the samplification also work. Has anyone heard of this? I downloaded the package from Ableton's download page and the extraction and install were without error. I have also tried repairing library several times and that did not work. Any ideas? Thanks.

hmmm. I know when I got live I didn't buy all the extra stuff (like the drum machines and what have you, so not the suite)so when I opened a bunch of the presets for these things (which ableton was so nice to throw in there... balls) nothing happened and the files were missing. I could be wrong. I just ended up deleting all my everything and working from scratch. It makes it slower but a lot more "learn intensive".

Hope this helps.

Do you use the latest 8.0.5 version?
Also, try to uninstall and reinstall just the Samplification Livepack.

Christian

Load up your preferences, select Library, find Samplification in lower part of upper half of display, highlight it and select uninstall. Then go and try reinstalling it.
