a friend has asked me if it is still possible to join m4l beta testing, or if the programme is closed. does anyone know?

I don't know much about there plans, but with ableton live beta's they start out small and expand the circle gradually.
When the big bugs are out. But this is with public beta versions, this one is private so that's new for me.

Did he sign up for the beta program on the cycling website?

yes I sent them patches, and some more stuff, and I received a mail a couple of days ago
