I am aware, but have not sought to listen to it specifically, might have heard some without knowing who it was.

Just heard a few mixes recently and thought, ya, thats alreet music that.

just got the burial album. the old one but found it really hard going. I like dark music but lacked the energy i need. was like massive attack cross with techno minus the kick drum.

cd two of 'agoria at the controls' has some real quality musics from drone music to dubstep and techno to rock n roll.

Caspa & Rusko - Fabriclive is very good and the record that made me finally admit I might like a bit of dubstep.

Pick up Dubstep Allstars 2 on Amazon. This was the textbook definition of dubstep until the style went upbeat and more into the midrange; if you like heavy bass this is the one. Also Kode9's mix for Sonar 2 http://www.gotdarker.com/?id=6 is excellent and varied.

I'd recommend:

Burial
2562
Martyn
Zomby
Distance
F (on the seven label)
Kode 9 (although I do get weary of his MC sometimes)
Late
Scuba
TRG

But then again, those are more on the experimental fringe of dubstep. For typical/wobble dubstep:

Rusko
16bit
Vex'd
Loefah
etc...

Google "medicate with bass weight" - it's a dubstep mix by Christine Vaccine, and it's pretty good, for the most part. She had it up for free download on some site, but they took it down after a while, and then it made it back online through filesharing sites (mediafire, etc) - you'll find it out there somewhere.

Cheers john.

just dl'd Skreams essential mix and a 16bit mix, plus Benga's essential mix.

That'll keep me in listening for the afternoon!
