8.0.5 extremely long load time!

brand new mac pro with snow leopard 10.6

nothing in it but my rme drivers ...fresh install of live and it gets hung up on initializing application for about 2 minutes before loading the default set. Is this a issue with 10.6SL
or should i try a fresh install again...

it's so freaking annoying

ideas anyone?

Try removing your prefs and your template file... but pls make backup first!

really weird but i think it has to do with my network connection to my Euphonix MC Pro. I disconnect and reboot my mac...all is good Live opens quickly. If i turn on my mac before the Euphonix..viola the problem crops up. It also crops up after I use the Euphonix with Nuendo then try to rewire Live to it. Very strange...and ideas again?

This happens to me in 8.2.1 when I set up live to work w/ Euphonix in HUI mode..but as soon as I delete that, it works like normal....

any ideas?
