Finally got round to loading up the M4L beta over the last couple of days and I must congratulate you on making a very complex product as easy as possible to understand for somebody who doesn't come from a visual programming background. The tutorials are well paced, taking the user through the core concepts of M4L, whilst enabling them to gain a greater understanding of what's achievable in the long run. Best of all I'm no longer scared of rolling me sleeves up and attempting some simple patches of my own. I realise it will be some time before I'll build that 'modular step sequencer' I have always imagined but there are a range of simple utility plugs that I can see myself building in the coming weeks.

I think there is a middle way emerging between max deep programming and simple Live user.
all the abstractions provided and such tutorial will help to soften max learning curve.

I see an advertising campaign in the making "Max 4 Live, suitable for the even the simplest of Live users"olivierseb wrote:
