[frs]extending beta3 beyond Sept 30

While I was waiting for beta4 to download, I decided to see if I could get beta3 to continue working by changing my system clock (via Date & Time preferences in OS X), and sure enough, after changing the date to Sept 29, beta3 opened right up, notifying me that it will expire on Sept 30.

Not quite a bug, but probably an unwanted artifact of using a simple method of date checking and likely something you folks want to know about if you don't already.

Hi,

we are aware of this. The reason for letting the Beta expire is simply that we want to make sure that testing is done with a reasonably new version, i.e. that we don't receive too many reports for bugs that already have been fixed.
